I help non-writers write generous books.
Here's what that means.

It doesn’t matter who you are, writing a book is hard. Writing a book that changes how others think and act is harder. Managing all of that when you aren't able to disappear into a writing cave for decades until you emerge as a Proper Writer? Oof.

Storytelling is one of our most innate human functions, but the process of putting those stories into books has taken many forms throughout the centuries.

Most of us were raised with the illusion of the Proper Writer:

  • a select few were chosen by publishers

  • those authors were given an editor and a platform

  • and as authors, they were expected to continue writing more if the first one did well. They became writers first. Whatever-they-were-before came second.

Even though digital publishing has taken away all of the limits that created that dynamic—for traditional and self publishers alike—it's hard to shed our old ideas about who gets to write and why.

But most of my clients are not writers first. They are coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and engineers. In other words, people who constantly have to think creatively to solve complex problems, push boundaries, and deliver innovative results. They have developed one-of-a-kind perspectives and are masters of their craft.

Masters are exactly who we need to hear from in book-length works. But not all masters are writers, which means that actually writing that book can feel like an impossible lift. And while you could hire a service to do the writing for you, not all non-writers can or should outsource their project to a ghostwriter.

I help non-writers write, because it's one of the most effective ways you can translate your complex, deeply personal knowledge into a form that resonates with others.

Writing a book as a non-writer means bridging the gap between what you know and how it can be effectively communicated to inspire, educate, or provoke change in your audience. And that's what we're going to do together.

You might be a non-writer if...

  • Your expertise lies in solving complex problems, not writing them down.

  • You have powerful ideas but struggle to put them into words.

  • You're a master in your field but feel lost when faced with a blank page.

  • Your insights are game-changing, but you're not sure how to share them in a book.

  • You almost wish someone else would write the book you're thinking of, because the message matters more to you than the medium

  • Your non-writing life holds just as much, if not more, importance as your writing life—and the two often feel at odds.

a bit about me

I've been in the non-fiction content world since before Amazon changed the game. We're talking websites, social, eBooks, Big Idea, memoir, editing, proofreading, ghostwriting, you name it.

Today, I call myself a book development partner, because my work with you is so much more than coaching and editing alone.

Over the last ten years, I have helped hundreds of clients turn the hidden potential of their perspective into finished books that influence the way their people see the world.

When you're ready, I'd love to partner with you too.

what a book development partner does

As a creative problem-solver myself, I know how to unlock the intricacies of your ideas and transform them into a cohesive narrative.

Drawing on innovative approaches in storytelling and decades of experience in interview-based ghostwriting, I help you find authentic ways to articulate your message.

And I do it all while breaking the book-writing process down into manageable steps that align with your goals, expertise, and life as a non-writer.

Here's how.

Step 1: Pinpoint Your Power

Clarity

Concept Clarity Sessions are focused, one-time calls designed to help aspiring authors gain clarity on their book idea. It’s perfect for those who are still in the brainstorming or raw drafting phase and need professional insight to refine their concept, assess its viability, and understand the next steps in their writing journey.

The session includes a pre-session questionnaire, a 90-minute intensive coaching call, and a follow-up action plan.

Step 2: Build Your Anchor

Coaching

Book Positioning and Strategy Coaching focuses on defining your unique perspective, establishing a clear vision and structure for your book, and positioning it in a way that will appeal to and resonate with your readers.

In a set of group or one-on-one sessions, we'll work through a series of structured coaching and guided exercises designed to clarify your book’s purpose, audience, and message until you have a complete map to write or revise toward.. â€‹

Step 3: Ground Your Flow

Completion

Beginning to End Book Partnership. Choose from a lightly guided cohort or a high-touch direct coaching and editing program, each designed to take you from a rough idea to a polished manuscript. The cohort process is iterative, with specific phases dedicated to deepening the book’s structure, revising the draft, and refining the manuscript through final content-level edits.

Or, step into a 1:1 container spanning more than a dozen touch points across at least a year. This package includes intensive coaching on book structure, personalized feedback on chapter by chapter drafts, and professional editing to ensure the manuscript aligns with your goals and vision.
